Twenty years ago Belgian-born Fabrice was working the reception desk at the Meridien Hotel in New Orleans when a customer asked whether he might show the man and his family around the French Quarter.
"This was my awakening," says Fabrice, who found his love of history and facility for language - both French and English - served him well leading tours throughout Europe as well as in Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Boston. He finally arrived in New York City, the place he now calls home.
"Since 1994 when that plane landed at LaGuardia I have been lucky enough to visit the hidden treasures of this city with hundreds of world travelers including many native New Yorkers. I have met the love of my life and 3 of my 4 children have been born on the 9th floor of St. Vincent's hospital in Greenwich Village."
"I may have been born in a town of 500 Belgians, but I have found a home in a metropolis of over 8 million," Fabrice grins. "I'm home but I just arrived a little late."
